Returning to floristry after maternity leave was a joyful and emotional milestone, and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful wedding to mark my return. Set in Newcastle, the bride entrusted me with full creative freedom, sharing only a few inspiration photos. She envisioned a mix of native blooms, lush greenery, and soft, romantic touches — a vision that came to life with striking proteas, delicate thriptomene, and dreamy white peonies. The bridesmaids carried simple olive leaf bouquets, letting their elegance shine, while the boutonnières echoed the bridal bouquet for a cohesive look.

This wedding reminded me exactly why I love what I do. It was such a pleasure to design something deeply personal and meaningful, and I’m so grateful to the couple for trusting Cottage & Co with their special day. I’m excited to continue creating heartfelt floral moments across Newcastle and the Hunter Valley.
